The Closing Party at the Gay Beach Party – Sitges 2009.

It was the closing night of the 8th season of Sitges Gay Beach Party… and what a closing night. With bears, boys, drag queens and everything in between it was a party to remember. The number of International visitors we have met this year who have come to Sitges specifically because of the reputation the party has gained abroad is phenomenal.

We would like to thank the barmen, the dancers, the security staff and the organiser Luis Enriquez for their hospitality throughout this years events and look forward to seeing you all again soon at the next Gay Beach Party Event. And remember with a major pride event in Sitges in 2010 you can expect some amazing beach parties!

Parrots Pre Gay Beach Party – September in Sitges 2009

Parrots Pub was hosting their usual pre-GBP Party on Tuesday night..

And the bears were out in force.

It was the last pre-gbp party of the Season and Sitges is still full of one of the widest mixes of guys, ages and types … so there is a little something for everyone!

Gay Beach Party – Finale, Sitges 2009

This Tuesday is the final of the Gay Beach Party in Sitges. Its set to be one of the hottest closing parties in years! Get your tickets at Parrots or Privilege beforehand or at the door.
Buses leave every 15 mins from outside the Calipolis Hotel.

Swimwear Party at Queenz Bar, Sitges

Sunday night and it was off to Queenz Bar.

It was Swim wear night…and the guys really went to a lot of effort with amazing body art!

And it was interesting to see the mix of people as regulars mixed with bears and tourists in between.

Streets of Sitges – Bears Week September 2009.

As we wandered home we just though we would share some of the diverse range of people who come to visit Sitges in September.

The bears have arrived in Sitges – September 2009.

Saturday night and it was clear to everyone in Sitges that the bears had arrived!

And the event hasn’t even officially started yet! There was barely standing room in the bars last night!

Bears week kicks off on Monday for a week long series of activities and events.

Events include the famous Mr Bear Sitges 2009 competition.

The events run from the next 7 days.
