The Barcelona Circuit Festival has announced their preliminary line up for August. As expected they are kicking off the event with a specular opening party. This year will also feature a SUPERMARTXÉ@CIRCUIT FESTIVAL, the Water Park on Tue 3rd of August and the incredible closing beach day of La Leche in Sitges at L’Atlantida.

Sitges celebrates International Madonna Day on the 25th of April… (well she is as famous as any Saint). Parrots Pub will be a shrine to all things Madonna.. with Madonna Music and Videos playing all day. And if you mention “International Madonna Day” to the barman… well you get a free shot! Enjoy..

The Second Sitges to Monaco Car Rally took place in Sitges over the weekend. The start of the tour was on Saturday April 17 in Sitges, and then the pilots will headed to Monaco, Milan, Modena and Avignon.

Bienvenidos, young lovers, wherever you are! Take your amor to Sitges this week to celebrate La Diada de Sant Jordi! Saint George or Sant Jordi in Catalan, was a romantic and chivalrous guy at heart who inspired Barcelona in seeing this day as the most giddy and amorous day of the year. He also happens to be the patron saint of the six million inhabitants of Catalonia.
Known as “The Day of Lovers,” La Diada de Sant Jordi is often compared to Valentine’s Day, but with some uniquely Latin twists. The main event is the exchange of gifts between sweethearts — men give their novias roses, and women give their novios a book to celebrate the occasion. Gay boys and girls… I guess you can decide! Oh and its also a day off for us here on the 23rd.. so the bars will be busy the night before!
We’ve just learned that Gay Pride Sitges party in the park has been moved to a spectacular new location. The Terramar Gardens, capable of holding more then 5,000 people will play host to the two main parties on Friday and Saturday Night from 12am to 6am. And you know what fun forests in Sitges can be!

As you may or may not know Ben and Pablo have closed the restaurant in its current location as of November 2009.It is and always has been their intention to find a new location and re open as soon as it is possible.
They had hoped that this would be in time for Easter 2010 but things didn’t go as planned and it looks like it will have to be put on hold until spring 2011.Both Ben and Pablo are looking forward to being “Back in the Saddle” and once again serving up a their unique combination of Pablo’s talents in the kitchen and of course Ben’s “Talent” front of house..
In the interim, you can find Lady Diamond at Queenz during the Summer Season (Dates to be announced) and at Parrots Restaurant every Friday Night from the 30th April for An Evening With Lady Diamond.
