For those of you comming to Sitges who want to relive the “Gay Beach Party” experience of the summer, we suggest you head to Souveir on a Sunday.
Located half way between Sitges and Barcelona, this after-hours club is one of Barcelona’s finest.
Hot Spanish and Latino GoGo boys put on a show that will definitely raise temperatures!
The crowd is quite mixed, but at this hour of the morning it really is a case of “anything-goes”.
Souvenir takes place on Sunday’s and is part of the Matinee Group.

Those of you travelling between Sitges and Barcelona will be glad to note that the safety works at Barcelona have been reviewed and the line has reopened. Services are limited with 3 trains per hour until 9pm, and 2 trains per hour thereafter. Extra buses will remain in place for the next few weeks. It now looks like the high speed Madrid to Barcelona train will open in the new year and not in December as expected.
We’ve been keeping an eye on availability of the key hotels in Sitges and Christmas already looks like it will be a busy period. Here are some of our recommendations. Remember you can book online with our partner hotels and make great savings on regular rates.
A firm favourite, the Sunway Hotel and Apartments. Its is at the end of the town, so a taxi or car is advisable, however the apartments are spotless and well laid out and you have the benefit of hotel service if you so desire. Check out their full listing on Gay Sitges Guide.
The “queen of hotels” , if you pardon the pun.. the Sol Melia Hotel is home to some of Sitges largest conventions and offers all the services and amenities you would expect from a hotel with an excellent reputation. Located just past the nudist beach, the hotel is well serviced by taxis and local buses.. the walk will take you approx 10 mins from the centre of town. Check out their listing on GaySitgesGuide.com
A firm favourite all year round, the Calipolis has been serving guests in Sitges for many years now. It has recently been refurbished and the sea-facing rooms offer wonderful views of Sitges. A firm favourite. Check out their listing here.
Right next door to the Caliplois is the Mediterraneo Hotel and Apartment. These apartments are fully spacious and fully serviced in a great location. Check out their listing here.
