On the 1st of Feb, El Horno is holding its “Bearnaval”.. an alternativel take on Carnival. In a town awash with Drag Queens and Straight Boys dressed up as women, this is the place to go if you want to find some real bears.. and their admirers. To those of you who were in Sitges this Summer, you may well have heard this playing on many of the video screens around town…. some excellent shots of Sitges in the background. … and we’re sure you will recognise some of the songs!
Always keeping you up-to-date…. we have the details for Sitges Bears events for 2008. We know it may seem a long way off, but believe us, both events have grown in popularity, so book early to avoid disappointment. The 4th Annual Bears Meeting takes place from the 1st to the 4th of May 2008.
The second event, featuring Mr Bear Sitges, takes place in September from the 8th to the 14th. For full details of the 2008 events, check out Gay Sitges Guide’s calendar.
Bears Bar goes for its winter hibernation this week, with a final closing party on Wed the 31st of October…. the bar will reopen in January. Check out their full listing on Gay Sitges Guide for further information.
