The 2009 Official Program and posters are out…and it looks like this year’s theme will be all things Venetian. We’ve had Egyptian, French Revolution…and now it appears that Venice will come to Sitges on the 19th of February. So now all you have to do is go find that perfect Venetian costume!
Bar Azul is open throughout the Carnival Period. Locate on C.Bonaventura, opposite Bourbons Bar, its open from 10pm every evening and combines a friendly intimate atmosphere with some of the sexiest videos onscreen in Sitges. Check out their full listing on Gay Sitges Guide here.
A new gay bar is set to open this Friday in Sitges. Bar Amura will host its opening party from 6pm on Friday evening. The bar is located on C.San Pere, 3 (the same street as es4u Sitges) and will also host a special Carnival Cabaret on the 20th of February from 12am. We at Gay Sitges Guide wish them well in their endavours.

El Horno is open every day during Carnival. Their happy hour from 5.30pm to 7pm will be especially popular during the festivities.
XXL is also open throughout Carnival from 10pm from the 19th to the 25th.

Parrots Pub opens on the 18th of February for Carnival. This years theme has a French twist..as you can see from their poster… Parrots becomes a hub of activity and one of the busiest bars during Carnival attracting a wide range of guys and girls looking for a good time. We’ve just received Locacolas posters for Carnival 2009. Their first event kicks off on the 18th of February, with the Noche de las Touristas.
And they finish off with the Noche de las Viduas… with the death of the King. Loca Cola is open throughout the entire Carnival and makes the perfect viewing spot to watch the Carnival Parades as they pass right past the front door of the bar!

Immediately afterwards, the king and his entourage make their way to Can Bota Park to choose the Carnival Queen. Via – Psg de la Ribera and Espanya
7.45pm – The choosing of the Carnival Queen
The king will continue to the Town Hall accpmpanied by Markatu Batucada and Timbasio.
His majest will adress the townspeople at the Town Hall and read the “Predicot”

Sitges Carnival 2022 returns with some changes to the program, most notably to the parades. All of the bars and night bars have reopened.
