Sitges Events Guide
Sitges ... From Carnival to Car Ralleys...
The Sitges Event Calender is one of the busiest in all of Spain. Every month there is a festival or event that will leave you breathless.
From the beginning of the year with the second comming of Christmas (so good they do it twice here in Catalonia) to the spectacular Carnival, this really is a town that knows how to party.
They say that during Carnival no body sleeps. Its simply 7 days of partying. And during the Summer months literally every day is like a Saturday... you will get that "Friday feeling, weekend vibe" simply every day.
During the Summer months the Gay Beach Party is probably the highlight of the week. Every Tuesday, the L'Atlantida club attracts boys from around the world to party into the early hours of the morning.
And the girls are catered for too, with one of the biggest lesbian parties being held at the end of Summer, each year.
Fiesta Mayor and Santa Tecla are not to be missed with some of the best Fireworks you are every likely to see. Get to the beachfront early to ensure you have the perfect view.
And finally, for the film buffs there's the Sitges Film Festival which attracts the international jet-set with Hollywood actors mingling with locals for an entire two weeks.
Throw in multiple bears parties, foam nights, sauna parties, together with traditional festivals such as Corpus Cristi and San Joan, you wont be short of a reason to party in Sitges.
