Sitges Film Festival 2008

Every October, Sitges turns into a mini Cannes, with most of the worlds major studios exhibiting their films for 2007.

Over the past 19 events, Sitges has played host to such stars as Jodie Foster and directors including Clint Eastwood.

The films are shown mainly in English with subtitles in Spanish. However some of Spain's most famous actors also turn out for some home grown fair.

The town becomes a bit of a media circus and every hotel room in Sitges is booked solid so if you plan to visit in October, be prepared!

Sitges 06 will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the premiere of Blue Velvet at the festival, with a review of David Lynch’s universe and the Spanish premiere of INLAND EMPIRE.
